My work unfolds at the intersection of movement, listening and symbolic language.I've studied Psychosocial Counselling, exploring the body as a therapeutic territory while working with people in situations of crisis and emotional distress.A turning point came through my training in Dance Techniques in the Community and Choreographic Research and Creation at Fórum Dança.My path, later expanded through studies in theatre, contemporary dance and choreographic creation, including postgraduate research at the University of Porto and ESMAE, where I wrote Towards an Epistemology of the Body and its Creative Potentials.International experiences such as the Afro-Contemporary Workshop at École des Sables in Senegal, the CanDoCo International SummerLab, and the Movement Artisans Winter Intensive in Berlin further shaped my approach to embodied research and composition.Over the years I have studied with artists and pedagogues from diverse movement practices, including David Zambrano, Frey Faust, Benoit Lachambre, Mark Tompkins, Anna Nowicka, Hofesh Shechter, Sita Ostheimer, Marcelo Evelin and many others.Alongside this work, I study astrology as a symbolic language of reflection and awareness, following the programme of the Faculty of Astrological Studies and drawing on authors such as Melanie Reinhart, Howard Sasportas, Liz Greene and Dane Rudhyar. For several years I collaborated with the National Institute of Circus Arts, teaching movement practices and contributing to the Choreographic Research and Creation Laboratory.A question continues to guide my work:
How can practices of movement, listening and symbolic inquiry expand awareness without reproducing invisible hierarchies?
